Hello BASK friends! We are already in week 3 of the Body Positivity challenge. For this week, I would like you to focus on "how" you can "unlock" your self-love by showing how you can love your body. This can sound really hard. Actually, it is easier than you think. I work with amazing, insightful, warm-hearted clients who have struggled for years with their body image and they have each taught me so much about helping others and what self-compassion really looks like. One of my former clients realized that she was practicing self-care when she deliberately took the time to moisturize her skin and use body lotion. This simple, loving practice spoke volumes to her about the attention that her body craved from her.
For this week, I challenge you to find at least one desired activity that demonstrates your genuine care for yourself that you can practice for this next week. Be creative, self-compassionate, and make that goal achievable. I wish you all a lovely week.
