Do you ever get so sick and tired of feeling like you are not good enough?

You are not a good enough mother, father, friend, worker, spouse, neighbor, etc. You get the picture? Life overwhelm and a horribly mean untamed inner critic happen to all of us and when we don't have a plan to tackle these matters, we can feel like we are drowning.

You are not alone.

You are not alone.

I have not only witnessed this "not good enough" narrative in my clients, but I am not immune to it either. When we don't feel good enough and are filled with self-doubt, everything suffers. Our decision making is hampered. Our productivity,
focus, and motivation can plummet. Our mental health can also take a hit as anxiety and depression can develop and relationships can greatly suffer too. Striving to feel good can come in many forms (body dissatisfaction, overcommitting/perfectionism/"do it all" syndrome, numbing through addictions of all kinds (drugs, food, excessive exercise, eating disorders, shopping, gambling, sex, video games, etc.) codependency "I will be okay when everyone else is first.") and unfortunately, these can create many more problems and struggles. These attempts to cope and feel better are "band-aids" and don't get at the underlying problem or unmet need(s).

There is a solution.

Guess what? I have figured this out. As a mother of a grade schooler and middle schooler with high needs and as a clinical psychologist of teens and adults, I have finally come up with a philosophy and plan to tackle life overwhelm and the "not good enough" syndrome that plagues so many of us. The loneliness, sadness, self-doubt, lack of motivation and focus, unstoppable crying, fear, dread, lack of energy, and pain that life sends our way can feel unbearable.

You deserve a better life and BASK gives you the tools to achieve it!

* Perfectionists learn its many costs and find new sources of self-worth that are unshakable.
